Details
In the film 99 Homes, construction worker Dennis Nash finds himself evicted from his home in Orlando, Florida, by real-estate broker Rick Carver. With no place to go, Nash is forced to move his mother and young son into a run-down motel, feeling hopeless and desperate. However, Nash is given an unexpected opportunity when Carver offers him a chance to work for him in order to regain his home.
Nash is quickly drawn into Carver's world of deceit and fraud, learning how the wealthy manipulate the system to their advantage. Juggling his new job and his family life, Nash begins to make significant amounts of money and starts dreaming of a better future. However, the moral implications of his actions start to weigh on him as he is forced to evict innocent families from their homes, just like what happened to him.
As the pressure builds and a massive home deal hangs in the balance, Nash must make a difficult decision. He can either choose to prioritize his own financial gain and destroy an honest man, or he can risk it all by defying Carver and seeking redemption.
