When in Rome is a romantic comedy film that follows the life of Beth, a hardworking career woman who has lost faith in love. After her ex-boyfriend informs her that he is engaged to someone else, Beth feels even more disheartened. She travels to Rome to attend her sister's unexpected wedding, where she meets the charming best man, Nick. Despite being attracted to Nick, Beth witnesses him with another woman, causing her to seek solace in the famous Fountain of Love. In a drunken state, she takes coins thrown into the fountain by people searching for love. Little did she know, this act comes with consequences.
Upon returning to New York, Beth finds herself pursued by four men who are inexplicably drawn to her. Meanwhile, Nick persists in asking her out, leaving Beth confused about his true intentions.
