In the distant future, vampires have been hunted down by fearless bounty hunters. One of the most famous hunters is D, a half-human, half-vampire hybrid. When a wealthy girl is kidnapped by the vampire Meier Link, her father hires both D and the Markus brothers, a rival group of hunters, to retrieve her.
