Upside-Down Magic is a Disney Channel Original Movie that follows the story of 13-year-old Nory Boxwood Horace and her best friend Reina Carvajal as they enter the prestigious Sage Academy for Magical Studies. Nory discovers that she has the unique ability to transform into animals, while Reina can manipulate flames. However, instead of being celebrated for their magical talents, Nory and her friends with unconventional powers are put in a class called Upside-Down Magic (UDM).

While Reina excels in her class of Flares, who can control fire, Nory struggles with her wonky magic and often transforms into a half-kitten, half-dragon creature known as a Dritten. Their Headmaster, Knightslinger, believes that UDM students are vulnerable to dangerous shadow magic. Determined to prove him wrong, Nory and her UDM classmates embark on a mission to show that Upside-Down Magic is just as powerful as right-side-up magic.

In their pursuit of acceptance and understanding, the group faces challenges and adversity but forms strong bonds along the way. This heartwarming and magical tale explores themes of friendship, self-acceptance, and the power of embracing one's unique abilities.
