Trick 'r Treat is a thrilling horror movie that takes place on a single block, on a fateful Halloween night. The film weaves together five interconnected stories, all linked by a common theme of terrifying Halloween traditions and the consequences that follow.

The first story follows a couple who discover the horrifying consequences of blowing out a jack o' lantern before midnight. As they soon realize, breaking this age-old tradition comes with deadly repercussions.

Next, we meet a seemingly ordinary high school principal who harbors a dark secret. Unbeknownst to his students and colleagues, he leads a double life as a serial killer, preying on unsuspecting victims.

In another tale, a college virgin finds herself on a date with a mysterious man who may not be what he seems. As the night progresses, she begins to suspect that she has finally found the perfect guy, but soon realizes there may be a terrifying twist.

Meanwhile, a group of mean-spirited teens decides to play a ruthless prank on an unsuspecting neighbor. However, they soon discover that their prank has gone too far and find themselves facing unimaginable consequences.

Lastly, a loner hermit is visited by a special trick or treater, who brings with him a wicked lesson about the true essence of Halloween.
