Tommy Boy is a 1995 comedy film about Tommy Callahan Jr., a hapless and dim-witted recent college graduate. After spending seven years in college, Tommy returns home to find a job waiting for him at his father's auto parts factory in Ohio. He is introduced to the new brake pad division of the factory and his soon-to-be stepmother, Beverly, and her son Paul.
However, tragedy strikes when Tommy's father, Big Tom, suddenly passes away, leaving the factory in dire straits. With the threat of bankruptcy looming over their heads, Tommy and Richard, Big Tom's loyal right-hand man, embark on a mission to save the factory.
The unlikely duo hit the road, traveling from town to town, trying to sell the new brake pads and keep the factory afloat. Along the way, they encounter comedic mishaps and unexpected challenges. Tommy's bumbling nature and Richard's quick thinking make for a hilarious and entertaining journey.
