venture, the duo takes aim at the popular Hunger Games series, as well as various other pop culture references. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the annual Starving Games take place. Kantmiss Evershot volunteers to participate in the games after her sister is chosen.
Throughout the film, Kantmiss must navigate the dangerous and absurd challenges of the games, all while forming an unlikely alliance with Peter, the geeky baker's son. Together, they must outsmart and survive against other competitors, including a villainous President Snowballs and a District 9 crew.
As the games progress, Kantmiss finds herself torn between her loyalty to Dale, her just-a-friend, and her growing feelings for Peter. The film combines action, comedy, and satire to poke fun at the conventions of both the Hunger Games series and other popular films.
In addition to the intense competition, Kantmiss has the opportunity to win various bizarre prizes, including an old ham, a discounted foot-long sub, and a partially eaten pickle.
