Stonewall is a riveting drama set against the backdrop of the historic Stonewall Riots in 1969, which marked a turning point in the fight for gay rights. The story follows Danny Winters, a young man who escapes his oppressive hometown and journeys to New York City, leaving behind his sister. Upon arriving in the city, Danny finds refuge at the infamous Stonewall Inn, a gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community.

At the Stonewall Inn, Danny meets Trevor, a charismatic and compassionate young man, and catches the attention of Ed Murphy, the manager of the bar. However, things take a dark turn as the film uncovers the colluding between corrupt police officers and Murphy, who exploit and target the vulnerable homeless youth who frequent the bar.
