Melanie Porter (Raven-Symone)is a talented high school graduate who has selected a University 800 miles from home. Her over protective father, James (Martin Lawrence) doesn't want her to be so far away, so he cooks up a plot to try to convince her to go to a local University. On the guise of going to her selected university, he forces a visit to his preferred (close to home) school. This is a typical road trip movie with lost cars, bumming rides on buses and planes, covering that difficult time of life when a father loses control of his daughter.

Zenon Car is a trouble-prone 13-year-old girl who, in the year 2049 AD, lives on a space station with the rest of her family. When she runs afoul of Parker Windom, the owner of the station, Zenon is determined to be "incorrigible", and as punishment is exiled to the worst place imaginable: The planet earth. After several painful weeks of adjustment to her new surroundings, Zenon enlists the aid of her earthbound pals to return to her "real" home with evidence that the "respectable" Mr. Windom is up to no good.

A four-member teen girl group named the Cheetah Girls go to a Manhattan high school for the performing arts and try to become the first freshmen to win the talent show in the school's history. During the talent show auditions, they meet a big-time producer named Jackal Johnson, who tries to make the group into superstars, but the girls run into many problems. Galleria becomes a full-time snob and forgets her friends, Dorinda has to choose between her friends or the dance club and other things that could break the Cheetah Girls apart permanently.

The sequel is filled with 'Cheetah-style' adventure, drama and humor. The escapade begins when Galleria enters the group in a Barcelona music festival, and the spirited foursome (escorted by Galleria's protective mom Dorothea and Chanel's mother Juanita) embarks on a journey of a lifetime. But things get way more complicated once the four best friends arrive in España: they meet Marisol, a talented solo singer and her manager/mother Lola, who unknown to the Cheetahs, may lead their group to break up; they are shown the sights by Joaquin, a handsome young tango dancer who falls for Dorinda; the fashion bug bites aspiring designer Aquanette; Chanel questions the future of her mother and Luc's relationship; Galleria begins to lose faith in the Cheetah Credo; and the Cheetahs' dream of becoming stars may be dashed forever when they are informed they've broken a stringent festival rule.
