In the romantic comedy film, Something Borrowed, Rachel, a shy lawyer, falls for Dex, a fellow law student from an affluent background. However, Rachel never confesses her feelings for him, resulting in Dex getting together with her best friend, Darcy, who often mistreats Rachel.
