In Showdown in Little Tokyo, two Los Angeles cops find themselves at odds with each other when it comes to enforcing the law. Chris Kenner, a half-Japanese cop with a deep knowledge of Japanese culture, believes in using his understanding to maintain peace in the city's Little Tokyo district. His partner, Johnny Murata, a no-nonsense American cop, favors a more brutal approach to dealing with crime.
Their conflicting ideologies are put to the test when they are assigned to investigate a dangerous criminal organization known as the Yakuza. As they dig deeper into the Yakuza's illicit activities, the detectives uncover a plot to smuggle a powerful new drug into the country.
Amidst the chaos, the unlikely partners find themselves drawn to a beautiful woman named Minako, who may hold crucial information about the Yakuza's operations.
