In the heartwarming comedy-drama Quartet set in a retirement home for musicians, the peaceful atmosphere is shaken up when Jean, a famous opera singer and ex-wife of one of the residents, arrives unexpectedly. On the eve of the annual concert celebrating the birthday of esteemed composer Giuseppe Verdi, tensions run high as the residents, who are all accomplished musicians themselves, struggle to come to terms with Jean's presence.
