Party of Five is a heart-wrenching drama series that centers around the lives of the Acosta siblings - Emilio, Lucia, Beto, Valentina, and baby Rafael. Set in present-day Los Angeles, the Acosta family is torn apart when their parents are unexpectedly deported to Mexico. Left to fend for themselves, the five siblings must come together and face a myriad of challenges in order to survive and stay together as a family unit.

Emilio, the eldest sibling, takes on the responsibility of caring for his younger brothers and sister. Juggling his own dreams and aspirations, he becomes a parental figure to his siblings, all while trying to keep their family's restaurant afloat. Lucia, the second oldest, struggles with her newfound independence as she starts college, while also grappling with the emotional toll of their parents' absence.

Beto, as the only male in the household, faces the pressures of growing up and finding his identity amidst adversity. Valentina, the family's artistic prodigy, confronts her own dreams while simultaneously sacrificing for the sake of her family. And lastly, baby Rafael, who is just starting to experience the world, adds another layer of complexity to their already challenging circumstances.
