In Pacific Heights (1990), a young couple is determined to turn their dream house into a reality. To achieve their goal, they decide to become landlords, renting out part of their home in order to cover the renovation costs. However, their plans take an unsettling turn when they find themselves dealing with a tenant who has a sinister agenda of his own.
As the couple's tenant, played by Michael Keaton, settles into the Pacific Heights neighborhood, they quickly realize that he is not the ideal tenant they had hoped for. He begins exhibiting increasingly strange and disturbing behavior, causing tensions to rise within the household.
