Nine Lives (2016) is a heartwarming family comedy that follows a busy and self-absorbed businessman, Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey), who finds himself in an unexpected situation. On his daughter's 11th birthday, Tom rushes to buy her a last-minute present and ends up getting more than he bargained for. While visiting a mysterious pet store run by the eccentric Felix Perkins (Christopher Walken), Tom is magically transferred into the body of Mr. Fuzzypants, the family cat.
Now, trapped in a feline body, Tom must navigate an unfamiliar world and communicate with his family, including his wife (Jennifer Garner) and daughter (Malina Weissman), to set things right. As he tries to learn what it means to truly be a part of his family, Tom realizes that there is more to life than just work and material success.
