In this suspenseful thriller, Dr. Lewis Shaler and his son Max find themselves in a terrifying situation aboard a late-night train to London. Lewis plans to leave Max with his grandparents before attending to victims of a devastating accident at the hospital where he works. However, their journey takes a dangerous turn when Max accidentally spills coffee on the coat of a woman named Sarah Barwell.

Embarrassed, Lewis offers to pay for the cleaning of Sarah's coat, sparking a conversation between the two strangers. As they become more acquainted, the train suddenly stops, and Lewis spots a man on the tracks seeming to fix the brakes. But when the train starts moving again, Lewis sees another man crawling on the tracks. Confused, he goes in search of the train guard and discovers that he is missing.

To their horror, Lewis and a few other passengers realize that the train is no longer stopping at stations and the driver seems to have sinister intentions. Determined to survive, Lewis teams up with fellow passengers Jan Klimowski, Peter Carmichael, and Elaine Middleton to try and stop the train. As they investigate further, they uncover the chilling truth - the train has no brakes, and the driver is suicidal.

With their lives hanging in the balance, Lewis and his newfound allies must find a way to outsmart the driver and save themselves before it's too late.
