Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) is an exciting adventure film that follows the 17-year-old Sean Anderson on a quest to find a mysterious island after receiving a coded signal. With the help of his stepfather Hank, they decipher the message and learn that Sean's grandfather Alexander Anderson has discovered the island described in Jules Verne's novels.
Determined to uncover the secrets of the island, Sean convinces Hank to buy tickets and accompany him to a small island nearby the location. They hire a local helicopter piloted by Gabato and his daughter Kailani. As they embark on their journey, they face a treacherous hurricane that causes them to crash-land on the island.
Upon arrival, they discover a breathtaking yet perilous place filled with lush forests, golden lava-spewing volcanoes, and menacing creatures. They soon encounter Alexander, who reveals that the island is sinking, putting their lives in jeopardy. Desperate to survive, they must find the legendary Nautilus, a submarine said to be their only hope.
