In the movie Insomnia, two seasoned Los Angeles detectives, Will Dormer and Hap Eckhart, are sent to a small town known as Nightmute in Alaska. The town, situated above the Arctic Circle, experiences constant daylight during the summer months, causing sleepless nights.
