In House of Wax (2005), a group of young adults find themselves stranded near an eerie wax museum in a remote town. Thinking they have stumbled upon a tourist attraction, they explore the strikingly lifelike wax figures within. Soon, they discover that the seemingly harmless figures are actually made out of real people, turned into wax by the deranged museum owner.
As night falls, the group realizes they are in grave danger. The sadistic proprietor, with a disfigured face, seeks to add them to his macabre collection of waxwork creations. Now, they must fight for their lives and find a way to escape before they become the next exhibits.
