In 1895, Dracula builds a hidden resort in Transylvania to raise his daughter Mavis in a safe environment. Fast forward to the present, and the resort has become Hotel Transylvania, a vacation spot for monsters wanting to escape human fears. To celebrate Mavis' 118th birthday, Dracula invites his monster friends, including Frankenstein and his wife Eunice, the werewolves Wayne and Wanda, Griffin the invisible man, Murray the mummy, and Bigfoot.
Meanwhile, Jonathan, a 21-year-old human, accidentally stumbles upon the hotel. Dracula disguises him as a monster to prevent panic among the guests, but Mavis quickly becomes infatuated with Jonathan, much to Dracula's dismay. Dracula insists that humans and monsters cannot have meaningful relationships and tries to break them up. However, Mavis believes Jonathan is her true love, ignoring her father's warnings.
As the party continues, chaos ensues as Jonathan's true identity is discovered, leading to a final confrontation that tests the bonds of family and friendship. Ultimately, this heartwarming animated film centers on themes of acceptance, love, and overcoming prejudice. Hotel Transylvania offers a delightful and entertaining story that will captivate viewers of all ages.
