In the movie HIM (2021), viewers are taken on a journey through the male role's decline in modern-day Norway. The story unfolds over the course of one day in Oslo, where we meet three distinct characters. Harald, an 11-year-old boy, struggles to fit in and find his place among his peers. Emil, a 30-year-old man, is unemployed and harbors deep-seated anger towards society. Finally, Petter, a 60-year-old filmmaker, is creating a documentary about the heroic figure Fridtjof Nansen.
As the day progresses, the lives of these three characters become intertwined in unexpected ways, revealing the different struggles each of them faces in a society that can be unforgiving.
