Highwaymen (2004) follows the story of Rennie Cray, a man on a mission to seek revenge for the hit-and-run murder of his wife. For the past five years, Rennie has been traveling across America in his customized '68 Plymouth Barracuda, determined to find the man responsible. The killer he pursues is James Fargo, a heartless and wheelchair-bound psychopath.
Fargo has transformed his '72 Cadillac Eldorado into a terrifying weapon, using mechanical innovations to extend his twisted body and mind. As Rennie gets closer to his target, their deadly game of cat-and-mouse escalates into a high-speed, high-stakes battle of wits and wills.
