In Heathers: The Musical, Veronica Sawyer is determined to make it through her senior year unscathed. However, her plans are derailed when she becomes entangled with the school's popular but ruthless clique known as the Heathers. These mean girls, all named Heather, are admired and feared by their classmates. While desperately trying to fit in, Veronica meets a new student named Jason J.D. Dean. As they grow closer, Veronica discovers that J.D. has a dark side and a sinister plan to take down the Heathers.

Throughout the musical, Veronica must navigate the complex and treacherous world of high school, facing social pressures, backstabbing friendships, and the intense desire to be accepted. As she becomes more entangled in J.D.'s schemes, Veronica must confront her own insecurities and decide what she truly stands for.
