In the film George of the Jungle (1997), audiences are introduced to Baby George, who miraculously survives a plane crash in the jungle. He is then raised by a wise ape as his own. Years later, an American noblewoman named Ursula Stanhope finds herself in a life-threatening situation during a safari. To her surprise, she is rescued by the now-grown George, who takes her to his jungle home.
As Ursula spends more time in the jungle, George begins to learn the intricacies of human relationships, while Ursula's lover, Lyle, relentlessly searches for her. When they are finally discovered, Ursula makes the decision to bring George back with her to the United States.
