Eye of the Needle (1981) is a gripping WWII thriller directed by Richard Marquand. Set against the backdrop of the impending D-Day invasion, the film tells the story of a ruthless German spy, Heinrich Faber (played by Donald Sutherland), who possesses classified information crucial to the success of the Allied forces.
