On December 28th, 1999, the citizens of New York City are preparing for the new millennium. However, chaos ensues when the Devil arrives in the city, taking over a man's body and embarking on a quest to find his chosen bride, a young woman named Christine York. If the Devil impregnates her between 11:00 PM and midnight on New Year's Eve, the world will face its ultimate demise.

The fate of humanity now rests upon the shoulders of Jericho Cane, a former cop who has turned into an atheist after the tragic murder of his wife and daughter. Despite his lack of faith in God, Jericho becomes the unlikely hero in this battle against evil.

As the countdown to midnight begins, Jericho must navigate a treacherous journey to protect Christine and prevent the Devil from carrying out his apocalyptic plans. Along the way, he encounters demonic forces and faces his own inner demons, eventually realizing that he might be the only one capable of saving the world from its impending doom.
