In the post-apocalyptic world of Day of the Dead: Bloodline (2017), a small group of survivors, made up of military personnel and resourceful civilians, find refuge in an underground bunker. Their main goal is to search for a cure to the deadly virus that has transformed the majority of the population into bloodthirsty zombies.
Led by a skilled military officer named Max, the group battles both the relentless zombies outside and the internal conflicts within their own camp. Among the survivors is Zoe, a medical student who remembers the original Day of the Dead outbreak and is determined to find a cure. However, their efforts are thwarted by the presence of Miguel, a former classmate of Zoe's who becomes a twisted, super-strong zombie due to his obsession with her.
As the tension rises, the survivors must find a way to outsmart the horde of zombies and deal with the dangerous relationship between Zoe and Miguel. With time running out and their numbers dwindling, the group's fight for survival becomes increasingly desperate.
