Con Air (1997) is a thrilling action film that follows the story of Cameron Poe, a highly decorated United States Army Ranger who finds himself in a desperate situation. After returning home to Alabama to be with his wife, Tricia, Cameron gets into a fight with some drunken locals at her workplace. In a tragic turn of events, Cameron unintentionally kills one of the drunks and is sentenced to a federal penitentiary for involuntary manslaughter, where he spends the next seven years.
As his parole eligibility approaches, Cameron is filled with hope of being reunited with his wife and daughter. However, his chances of going home are jeopardized when he is forced to board a prison airplane along with some of the most dangerous criminals in the country. To make matters worse, the criminals manage to take control of the plane and hatch a plan to escape the country.
Cameron finds himself in a harrowing situation as he must find a way to stop the criminals while pretending to go along with their scheme. At the same time, United States Marshal Vincent Larkin is determined to help Cameron gain his freedom and put an end to the criminals' dangerous plot, led by the cunning Cyrus The Virus Grissom.
As tension rises onboard the prison airplane, audiences will be on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the explosive climax of this high-stakes, adrenaline-fueled battle between good and evil.
