In the movie Chavez Cage of Glory (2013), Hector Chavez finds himself on the verge of losing everything as he struggles to support his ill son's mounting medical bills. Desperate to find a solution, he returns to his fighting background, diving into the gritty world of underground Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Los Angeles.
Hector's amateur MMA videos unexpectedly go viral, catching the attention of the top MMA federation in the world. The federation presents him with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to face off against the reigning MMA World Champion, a merciless fighter whose previous opponent is fighting for their life in the same hospital as Hector's son.
