In the movie Black Knight (2001), Jamal Walker, an amusement park employee, is unexpectedly transported back in time to 14th-century England. Initially thinking he has been transported to a theme park, Jamal soon realizes that he is actually in medieval times. He encounters Sir Knolte, a dissolute knight, and gets entangled in the court of King Leo, a usurper.
As Jamal navigates this unfamiliar world, he meets Victoria, a woman determined to restore the queen to the throne. He also crosses paths with the villainous Sir Percival. Together with Sir Knolte and Victoria, Jamal uses his modern-day knowledge of football, golf, and boxing to train the rebels and aid their cause.
In an unexpected turn of events, Jamal takes on the persona of the Black Knight, donning armor and becoming a hero. Throughout the film, Jamal learns important lessons about courage, honor, and friendship, as he fights for justice and helps the rebels in their quest to restore peace and overthrow King Leo.
