In the 1995 movie Assassins, professional hit-man Robert Rath is looking to retire after completing a few final contracts. However, his plans are thwarted by the arrival of Miguel Bain, a ruthless and ambitious hit-man who begins killing Rath's targets before he can get to them. As Rath tries to navigate this new threat and protect his reputation in the underworld, he must also contend with the shadowy organization that hires both him and Bain for their deadly missions. The tension between Rath and Bain escalates as they find themselves in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, each trying to outwit and outmaneuver the other in their deadly pursuit.
