The movie Across the Line follows Charlie, a billionaire financial guru from Los Angeles who finds himself in trouble when his empire is exposed as a Ponzi scheme. In order to escape the consequences, he decides to hide in Tijuana. However, he is not alone in Mexico, as he is searching for the woman he left behind 25 years ago.
As Charlie navigates the streets of Tijuana, he finds himself being pursued by various individuals. One of them is a dangerous Mexican gangster who wants revenge for Charlie's past actions. Additionally, a federal agent is hot on Charlie's trail, hoping to bring him to justice for his financial crimes. To add to his troubles, thugs sent by a former client are also after him, determined to retrieve their money.
