In the film My Name Is Khan, Rizwan Khan, a Muslim man from Mumbai with Asperger's syndrome, faces challenges due to his condition, which makes it difficult for him to socialize. The story follows Rizwan as he marries Mandira, a Hindu single mother, and they settle in San Francisco. However, after the tragic events of 9/11, Rizwan is mistaken for a suspicious individual at LAX airport due to his disability and is subsequently detained by authorities.

During his time in detention, Rizwan meets Radha, a therapist who helps him navigate the difficulties he faces because of his condition. Inspired by Radha, Rizwan embarks on a mission to meet the President of the United States, George W. Bush, in order to clear his name and prove that his disability should not be mistaken for wrongdoing.

With a stellar performance by lead actor Shah Rukh Khan, the film delivers a powerful message about the importance of empathy and understanding in a world filled with misconceptions and prejudice. Directed by Karan Johar, My Name Is Khan invites viewers on an emotional journey that ultimately illuminates the strength of the human spirit.
