Bereavement

The horrific account of 6 year old Martin Bristol, abducted from his backyard swing and forced to witness the brutal crimes of a deranged madman.

Details

In the movie Bereavement set in 1989, Martin Bristol is a young boy who suffers from a rare neural disorder called CIPA, rendering him unable to feel pain, heat, or cold. He is kidnapped by a deranged serial killer named Graham Sutter and taken to an abandoned meat-packing plant in Minersville, Pennsylvania, where Graham brutally murders his victims.

Five years later, seventeen-year-old Allison Miller, who has recently lost her parents, moves in with her uncle Jonathan Miller and his family, who live near the decrepit plant. Although Jonathan, his wife Karen, and their daughter Wendy welcome Allison into their home, she remains distant and uninterested in her new family.

Allison frequently runs alone on the road and catches the attention of William Billy, a mechanic with whom she develops feelings. Despite her uncle's warning to avoid the old factory and Billy due to his troubled past, Allison disregards his advice and brings tragedy upon the Miller family.

Bereavement is a suspenseful thriller that explores the consequences of one girl's reckless decisions and the dark secrets lurking within the abandoned meat-packing plant. As the story unfolds, viewers are drawn into a world of mystery, fear, and the horrifying reality of a deranged serial killer.
