In Saw II (2005), detective Eric Matthews is called to a crime scene where he discovers a clue that leads him to the hidden location of notorious serial killer Jigsaw. To his horror, Eric discovers that Jigsaw has captured his own son, Daniel Matthews, along with seven strangers, and locked them inside a shelter filled with a deadly nerve gas.
