In Reign of Fire (2002), a terrifying horde of fire-breathing dragons emerges from the depths of the earth and unleashes chaos upon the world. These fearsome creatures quickly gain dominance, reducing civilization to ashes and forcing humanity into survival mode. The film follows a group of survivors led by Quinn Abercromby (played by Christian Bale), who resides in a fortress hidden deep in the English countryside. Their survival depends on staying hidden and evading the dragons' wrath.
Everything changes when an American warrior named Denton Van Zan (played by Matthew McConaughey) arrives, promising a way to take back the world from the dragons.
