WW2, December 1942. Flukten Over Grensen follows the gripping and heartfelt journey of four children who find themselves on the run. Sarah and Daniel, both Jewish, are on the verge of being deported. In a desperate attempt to escape the Nazis, they seek shelter in the cellar of Otto and Gerda's house. The courageous couple agrees to protect them, risking their own lives in the process.

However, their safe haven is short-lived as the children are eventually discovered, leading to the arrest of their parents. With no other choice, Sarah and Daniel, along with two other kids, embark on a treacherous journey towards faraway neutral Sweden. They know that reaching Sweden offers their only chance of safety and freedom from tyranny.

As they navigate through the dangerous landscape, the children face numerous obstacles and harrowing encounters that test their resilience and unity.
