Details
In the movie Detonator (2003), an explosive device is delivered to a law firm's office, resulting in the deaths of 15 night crew members and senior partner Anne Harrington. Beau Stoddard, a postal inspector who is also the FBI liaison, takes on the task of tracing the bomb's origins. Despite his past grievances with Robert Brickland, the nominee director of Domestic Security and his former boss at the bomb squad and FBI, Beau is allowed to collaborate with his ex-partner Jane Dreyer.
As the investigation progresses, U.S. Attorney Fred Goldenberg is also targeted and killed in a bomb attack. Anonymous letters suggest that drug lord James Grimes may be behind the attacks, but Grimes insists on his innocence until he meets a violent end during his arrest.
Despite the mounting evidence, Beau suspects that there is a more sinister plot at play. Determined to uncover the truth, he continues to pursue leads, risking his own safety in the process.
