Summary:
Rupert Pupkin has one dream - to become a comedy great. He idolizes Jerry Langford, a renowned talk show host, and desperately wants to perform on Jerry's show. However, his pleas are met with dismissive responses and rejection. Undeterred, Rupert decides to take matters into his own hands and starts stalking Jerry.
As the obsession grows, Rupert becomes increasingly fixated on his goal. Determined to make his dreams come true, he eventually joins forces with Masha, a disturbed and equally obsessed fan of Jerry. Together, they hatch a plan to kidnap Jerry and force him to let Rupert perform on his show.
